Giorgio Bormac Srl was founded in 1995 by Rosanna Orlandi and Giorgio Borellini. The company is located in the centre-North of Italy, and has the aim of selecting and selling laboratory equipment of excellent quality, through a network of national and international distributors.

The two partners (privately and professionally) share the tasks: Giorgio, with over 40 years’ experience in the field of scientific instrumentation and specialisation in electrochemical, deals with the selection of products, validation of suppliers and marketing. Rosanna is responsible for managing inventory, in order to optimise warehouse turnover and guarantee fast deliveries.

In 2001, the trademark XS instruments was created to represent all Electrochemistry line, followed up shortly by the sub-brands XS green line, XS professional and XS Sensor.

Later on the demand from distributors for a wider range of equipment brought the company to distribute those items under other sub-brands as: Argo-Lab for ovens, incubators, climatic chambers, Onda Spectrophotometers, Neya Centrifuges and XS Balances.

For its 25 year anniversary, Giorgio Bormac introduces the new electrochemistry lines Vio and VioLab equipment: 15 new instruments featuring an innovative display and an attractive design, developed, designed and assembled in Italy within a 20 kilometres range.

Nowadays Giorgio Bormac Srl exports a wide range of laboratory and on-field equipment for countless applications in over 45 countries worldwide.
