Memmert Environmental Test Chambers CTC/TTC
Feb 24 2012
With the highly efficient TTC temperature test chamber and CTC climatic test chamber with humidity unit Memmert provides the market with two devices that considerably shorten processes in the field of controlled material and function tests, as well as aging tests.
Sufficient reserves of power across the temperature control range of -42°C to +190°C guarantee that relevant test standards are fulfilled, such as DIN EN 60068-2-1, 2-2, 2-3 and 2-30, but also stability tests in accordance with the ICH guideline. The Memmert environmental test chambers set the benchmark in terms of temperature change speed. In just 20 minutes (to 98% of the setpoint) they heat up from - 40°C to +180°C, and in the opposite direction they
cool down in just 80 minutes (to 98% of the setpoint) from +180°C to -40°C. This means a temperature change speed of 10K per minute in heating operation, and 6K in cooling operation (+ 190°C to 0°C) on average.
In order for the two appliances, with a nominal power of 7,000 Watt, to be able to work highly energyefficient at the same time, e.g. the twin-compressor, regulated according to output, or the extremely low K-value of the insulation provide for optimised energy consumption. The 3-layer insulation system, originally developed for the aerospace industry prevents the insulation from being penetrated by moisture, thus permanently guaranteeing insulation capacity. With a chamber volume of 256 litres, the appliances are nonetheless compact and can be conveniently
moved through any standard laboratory door.
