New 400 Litre Autoclave Introduced

Aug 19 2016

A new 400 litre front-loading laboratory autoclave is the latest addition to the Q63 range of lab and research grade steam sterilisers manufactured by Priorclave. Its chamber with a taller profile than that found in most ‘cylindrical’ machines gives this latest development an impressive load capacity, with up to 20% more space than conventional machines, making it ideally suited for sterilising larger bulky items.  Users will also benefits from a lower loading height of just 725 mm.

For laboratories wishing to acquire a high capacity, front loading cylindrical chamber autoclave with an exception pack density at a more affordable price the new 400 litre autoclave could prove the ideal choice.

Whilst offering better loading versatility with much easier and safer chamber access the combination of features such as forced air cooling to reduce cycle times and automatic timed free-steaming for improved air removal add to the overall sterilising performance of the Q63 autoclave.

Design of the new 400 litre machine is based on the smaller and extremely successful 320 litre autoclave; it therefore launches with a proven build quality and reliability and complies with international standards.

It also features advanced micro-processor control system that simplifies programming as well as maintaining a watching brief to optimise the sterilisation process.  It can be configured to log all temperature, pressure time and cycle data into a single compact archive file which can be subsequently forwarded from anywhere in the world direct to Priorclave’s UK Service Centre for technical assistance.

The build quality of the new autoclave uses epoxy coated panels and frame members which are treated with an anti-bacterial agent which is highly effective against all bacteria and fungi including MRSA, key factors in preventing cross contamination within the laboratory.

The Q63 laboratory autoclave and research steriliser range is now available in two standard sizes of 320 and 400 litres, makes this an ideal mid-size capacity autoclaves for applications across so many sectors including food and beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, education, and microbiology.
