Priorclave’s Base range of autoclaves covers the basics for research, quality assurance, and teaching labs: media preparation, waste loads, and sterilising loose instruments, open containers, and labware. Base models are especially useful for labs that need to run just a few cycles each day, and don’t need to have a dry load quickly. Base autoclaves are available in the full range of sizes and configurations: benchtop, free-standing, vertical or horizontal, 40L to 700L and larger, with either round or square chambers. 

The Smart range is intended for labs that need more, and is favoured by demanding industrial, research, and production facilities. These sterilisers are vacuum-equipped, with expanded programming functions for greater flexibility, and enhanced cooling, air-intake filtration, and drain protection. Smart Priorclaves can handle a wider range of loads, and are ideal for challenging mixed waste loads, soil and substrate preparation, wrapped instruments, porous loads, and vessels that tend to trap cold air (like tall fermenters and narrow flasks). Smart autoclaves are likewise available in the full range of sizes and configurations, and optimised for easy maintenance, and cost-effective ‘green’ efficiency.

Priorclave’s Performance range is for ‘power users’ who need a mid-sized or larger steriliser for heavy use. All models have square vessels and are steam-jacketed and vacuum-equipped, in addition to being equipped with the expanded programmable controls and other features found on the Smart range of autoclaves. They excel at high-throughput operation (i.e., more than four cycles each day). Priorclave Performance autoclaves are ready to handle more load types, more loads per day, and produce dryer loads - all more quickly, more reliably, and at lower cost than comparable sterilisers.
