Eutech Instruments hits their target with the 2700 series benchtop meters.

Apr 04 2012

Eutech Instruments understands that the most precious things in a laboratory are time, budget, and space. Each is important but only if they do not sacrifice measurement accuracy. That was the basis behind development of (5) benchtop models for measurement of pH, redox/ORP, ion, conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity, dissolved oxygen, and temperature. The Eutech 2700 series Benchtop Meters represent a perfect combination of simplicity and affordability for any laboratory.

The first thing to notice is the generous, back-lit display with easy-to-read fonts. Along with the primary display, users are able to view temperature, electrode status, calibration points, as well as date and time simultaneously at-a-glance.

Eutech Instruments reduced their existing overall benchtop footprint design by 40%, saving valuable space to fit into today’s crowded laboratories. By incorporating an integral electrode arm into the housing and offering right or left-handed positioning, space is conserved further still. In contrast, free-standing electrode holders can often double the space required for routine measurement!

Don’t let the user intuitive, friendly interface fool you into thinking that the 2700 series are entry level instruments. They offer a full range of impressive features that are found in much more expensive models;

• Choose the ability to set up passwords to restrict calibrations and setup parameters or don’t require passwords for non-sensitive operation.

• Use the calibration due alarm to alert you when the calibration exceeds a specified time and needs to be performed. There’s also an out of range setting that will emit an audible alarm if a measurement goes above or below a  pre-determined target value, notifying you of an important condition.

• Continuously monitor and record samples at preset intervals into internal memory or use free Cyberscan software. Easily recall up to 500 data points with time and date-stamped for GLP compliance.

• For best accuracy, calibration can be performed using auto-buffer recognition for up to 6-points. The custom buffer setting will allow calibration to values which are user-specified.

• View calibration details at any time including point-to-point slope values, offset, and date/time of the previous calibration performed.

• The innovative stability indicator used by the Eutech 2700 allows for quick determination when the reading has stabilized. See the stability indicator in action.

• Conductivity meters include a high-performance, low-maintenance, 4-cell conductivity probe for highest accuracy across a broader range of samples.

• The keypad and pull-out instruction card which includes a handy step-by-step calibration guide are each splash-proof, improving the instrument durability which is already backed by a 3-year warranty.
