Welch Vacuum adds “walk away automation“ to its line of oil free Teflon pumps. Welch vacuum has updated its well known oil free pumps used in rotary evaporator applications. The latest model 202803 incorporates
a fully electronic control system that allows the user to set the pump working and then walk away.
The pump can be set to switch off automatically; self clean itself or hold at a set level until the user returns. Vacuum is automatically controlled with a patented variable flow system that gives hysteresis free vacuum control plus the ability to pump high vapour loads.
In addition to the automatic function the pump can be programmed
or run in a manual mode. It is supplied as standard with protective
inlet and out let liquid traps. For solvent recovery applications or
working in an open lab easily fitted secondary condensers are available
as accessories.
