Following requests from customers that require a simple manual way of adjusting the vacuum level on Teflon chemical pumps Welch has now incorporated as standard a vacuum control valve on the front of the “DryFast” range of Teflon pumps. The valve can be left shut and the pump will work at maximum end vacuum. For applications that do not require a deep end vacuum the user can manually adjust the vacuum level by rotating the control valve.
As the vacuum control valve flows air into both vacuum heads vacuum is not only stable but the pump handles high vapour loads more effectively than other designs.
The pump housing is very strong thus enabling the fitting of secondary condensers for solvent recovery without the need of special pump or pump stands.
