WTW GmbH announces its new MultiLine® handheld measuring instruments with IDS intelligent digital sensors.

The new sensors are based on the proven WTW SenTix® pH / ORP sensors and TetraCon® conductivity cells. However, the IDS sensors convert the raw signals into digital signals which are insensitive against interference and can be transferred over large distances, particularly with pH sensors. Currently cable lengths of up to 25m are

available and the cables handle much smoother than previous ones.

For optical DO measurement, a completely new IDS probe, the FDO® 925 has been developed. It employs a factory-calibrated sensor cap, thus making further calibration unnecessary. Each IDS sensor automatically logs on to the meter with its serial number and status information, for example, calibration history and specifications. These data are used to calculate the measurement value.

Three new meters are available: The Multi 3410 is a one-channel multi meter for users who measure different parameters only sequentially. The Multi 3420 can simultaneously measure, display and store two, the Multi 3430 three parameters.

All meters have waterproof (IP 67) housings and keypads. A new, brilliant high resolution colour graphic display provides a modern user interface. A memory for 10000 records allows extended data collection in the field. The data can be transferred to a USB stick, printers PCs or laptop via two integrated USB interfaces.
