ebro EBI 310 high precision USB data logger for accurate, accessible and cost effective data reporting showcased by Xylem at Pittcon 2012

Mar 20 2012

ORLANDO, FL – (March 12, 2012) – ebro, a Xylem brand, will showcase its EBI 310 USB data logger at Pittcon 2012. Designed to monitor the temperature of drugs, serums and other perishable goods during shipment or storage, the EBI 310 USB data logger provides the ability to access data reports in a standard PDF format. This removes the need to invest in specialized software and the associated training, reducing overall costs by eliminating the need for installing proprietary software to configure or read the data logger. The ability to view data in an automatically created PDF report also provides a unique level of accessibility that minimizes user errors and improves overall efficiency. In addition, as no data manipulation is possible, data integrity is secure. Xylem will showcase the EBI 310 USB data logger and products from its other analytics brands in booth # 3171 during Pittcon 2012 from March 12-15 in Orlando, Florida.

Other relevant applications for the EBI 310 USB data logger include clinical trials (medication tests and launches), or storage of samples in refrigerators or freezers in which flexible control measurements are crucial. The EBI 310 is able to automatically produce data reports in a PDF A1b format, in addition to working with specialized data logger software. As an additional option, there is a website to configure the logger. See www.ebi300.com for further information. Through these features, the requirement for specialist training is minimized, overall IT costs are decreased and user errors are avoided.

The ebro EBI 310 logger’s design offers a level of vigilance which meets the requirements of the pharmaceutical market and ensures the instrument is GMP and pharmaceutical CFR part 11 compliant. The instrument is waterproof and offers the flexibility of a wide temperature measurement range, from -30°C to +75°C, an accuracy of ±0.2°C, storage of up to 120,000 values and, automatically generated PDF data reporting. An integrated USB connection also enhances flexibility for field applications.

Xylem will showcase its analytics solutions and applications in booth # 3171 at Pittcon 2012 from March 12 – 15 in Orlando, Florida.
