Anton Paar has announced the launch of AP Spectroscopy Suite 1.5, the latest version of its spectral analysis software, designed to streamline routine Raman and FTIR workflows and enhance quantification in QC laboratories.
“Version 1.5 addresses key laboratory bottlenecks, delivering faster setup of reliable quantification workflows, more flexible method preparation, and clearer reporting for routine operation,” sais Dr Thomas Hahn, Product Manager. “It helps labs standardise processes, reduce manual effort, and achieve reliable results faster.”
AP Spectroscopy Suite operates Anton Paar’s Cora 5001 Raman and Lyza 3000 and Lyza 7000 FTIR instruments from a single PC-based platform. Version 1.5 introduces guided linear quantification, enabling users to create models from reference data using a wizard-based workflow, evaluate the resulting regression model, and convert it directly into a lifecycle-managed method.
For regulated environments, AP Spectroscopy Suite Premium 1.5 provides additional compliance-focused functionality. A new ATR pharmacopoeia check supports suitable single-bounce ATR cells in line with European Pharmacopoeia 2.2.24 requirements, complementing the software’s focus on data integrity, traceability, electronic signatures, and audit readiness.
The new release introduces offline method creation, allowing users to prepare new methods without an active instrument connection. For FTIR users, it adds expanded component management, including transmission cell management with path length calculation support, and automatic use of calculated path length data during processing.
Reporting has also been improved. Identification and verification reports now begin with an overview table, and PDF export of results has been accelerated by approximately 30%.
