Mageleka’s Magnometer XRS is ideal for analysis and characterisation of complex, multi-component nanoparticle suspensions including formulation development and optimisation. Utilising proton relaxation techniques the device is simple to use. A small amount of material is inserted via a standard NMR tube, the test sequence initiated and the result reported in under 2 minutes.  With an exceptionally wide concentration range of 0.01% to 90+%, small sample size of typically 0.1mL with little or no sample preparation, the Magnometer is perfect for routine analysis of particles suspended in solvents and melts regardless of shape and size. Applications include batch-to-batch reproducibility in a manufacturing environment and is also a powerful tool for selecting suitable solvents for wetting and dispersion of powders including particle-solvent compatibility to determine Hansen Solubility Parameter of solid materials. Existing customers include catalyst companies, pharmaceutical and personal health care providers, silicas, ink, pigments and paints manufacturers.
