Malvern Instruments light scattering specialists Dr Ana Morfesis and Dr Ulf Nobbmann, will present a poster on ‘Nanoparticle characterization by light scattering’ as part of the 86th ACS Colloid and Surface Science Symposium being held at the University of Baltimore in Maryland, USA, June 10-13, 2012. Their poster will be displayed from 5.30 until 7.30 pm on Monday June 11 in a session held in the exhibition area, where delegates will also be able to visit the Malvern booth to find out more about the company’s full range of systems for nanoparticle characterisation, including the market leading Zetasizer Nano.

A workhorse that is trusted in labs throughout the world, the Zetasizer Nano combines a particle size, zeta potential and molecular weight analysis for particles and molecules from below a nanometer in size to several microns. It is available in a range of variants to suit specific applications and different budgets.

Zetasizer Nano systems measure size using dynamic light scattering, zeta potential and electrophoretic mobility using electrophoretic light scattering, and molecular weight using static light scattering.
