Digital Colour Cameras Launched

The new digital cameras from Meiji are available as 2 and 3 Mega pixel models. The 3 Mpixel model incorporates a 0.5inch QXGA image array and an on-chip 10-bit A/D converter capable of operating at up to 7.5 frames per second with full resolution and 20fps at the lower XGA resolution. Transfer of images to the user computer is by USB 2.0 connection.
The cameras have a very low noise level offering high sensitivity of operation at a low working temperature, all beneficial to the microscopy user wanting a simple and efficient solution to image capture.
The camera package is complemented with an extremely user friendly software package offering a broad range of applications features for still and live image capture. It incorporates all the commonly expected features while offering flexibility for the user to store protocols for personalized image capture from camera control to the export of images.
