FREE Webinar on the use of Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis in Drug Delivery Research.

On Thursday 6th June at 1530 and 1730 BST time (1030  1230 EDT), NanoSight will host a webinar to look at how Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) is used to as a characterization tool during the development of drug delivery systems. NanoSight will:

• Discuss drug delivery systems, what’s available and the advantages of nanoparticles.
• Briefly introduce those unfamiliar to NTA to this technology and the data it provides.
• Present recent data on the use of NTA in characterizing drug delivery systems of liposomes, polymer carriers and for prodrugs.

Drug delivery applications are attractive option as they have the potential to allow a medicine to preferentially act at the site of disease and have reduced side effects. The webinar will discuss how nano-scale therapeutics are particularly suited for drug delivery and what types are available. Particle size is a key parameter when characterizing nano-particles. NTA has been used in the research of drug delivery systems of liposomes, polymer carriers and prodrugs.
