Classic Mortar Grinder for Efficient Mixing and Triturating

The famous ‘Retsch Mill (RM)’ is a classic among the mortar grinders. Since 1923 it has been constantly improved and continues to set standards in this product segment. The RM 200 model is the latest product generation for the gentle grinding of hard, brittle and pasty materials.

Mortar grinders are suitable for reproducible sample preparation for subsequent analysis within the framework of quality assurance and GLP as well as for the preparation of prescriptions and formulations. Samples that are difficult to comminute can be successfully processed in the RM 200 by heating or cooling them, or by using grinding aids.

Grinding sets consisting of mortar and pestle are available in 7 different materials, among them hard porcelain which is recommended for the preparation of pharmaceutical and homeopathic products.

The RM 200 provides a useful volume from 10 to 190 ml and achieves a final fineness below 10 microns. The sample or grinding additives can be added through a plexiglass window in the grinding compartment cover during operation.
