analytica USA 2025: Unique live show program for laboratory decision-makers and users

From September 10–12, 2025, the brand-new laboratory trade show in Columbus, Ohio will offer a range of captivating live shows designed to provide a fresh perspective on some of the most crucial processes taking place in modern laboratories.

What is the Lab Safety Show about?
A series of experimental presentations will demonstrate how laboratory staff ensure safety in the laboratory. Topics covered include:

• Hazardous material: their risks, categories of hazardous materials 

• Labelling of hazardous materials 

• Safe storage of hazardous materials

• Information on technical ventilation for the storage of hazardous materials

• Safety of lithium-ion batteries

Sessions take place daily at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. in the analytica USA Forum (Friday: 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. only). Admission is included in the ticket, no extra costs. Details can be found here.

What is the Digital Transformation special show about?
Discover the laboratory of the future through hands-on access to ground-breaking technologies. This showcase presents the latest advances in digital transformation.

Learn more about networked laboratory processes in two showcases: 

Showcase 1: a fully autonomous cobot system that digitises and automates the entire titration process:

• Acid digestion in a stirred dry bath

• Seamless sample transfer into a customised autosampler

• All workflows are automated and are integrated into a process software 

Showcase 2: fully traceable sample preparation process - optimised for sensitive materials and seamlessly integrated with digital lab automation:

• A sample safely stored in a Liebherr laboratory fridge-freezer combination with NoFrost

• A connect inventory management solution from Dueperthal: the sample is checked out and transferred to the iHEX system

• A stirring bar of 2MAG and a sens-o-Spheres of AMENSIO sensor which continuously logs temperature data during the mixing and heating process. With seamless digital documentation available within the system.

• A cobot, a UR5e by UNIVERSAL ROBOTS supports the transportation of samples throughout the show

What is the Live Lab about?
Classic work steps—from sample processing to final analysis and evaluation—will be presented on a laboratory workbench. Various companies will present their applications in a variety of ways on the equipment. After each show, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with service staff and equipment manufacturers.

• Sample preparation: milling and particle analysis

• Fully automated water content analysis

• Quantifying polysorbates in biopharma formulations

• Intelligent laboratory design for modular functionality and reliable research
