Analytica Vietnam 2023: Southeast Asia's Premier Meeting for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, and Biotechnology Experts

Scheduled from April 19-21, 2023, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the 7th edition of analytica Vietnam is being hosted by Messe München, a prominent global trade fair organiser. This event is anticipated to draw in numerous exhibitors and attendees from different parts of the globe.

analytica Vietnam 2023 is a premier gathering for professionals in laboratory technology, analysis, and biotechnology. The conference program encompasses more than 30 sessions and panel discussions, delivered by notable industry experts from around the world. Attendees will acquire knowledge on the most recent industry trends, challenges, and breakthroughs, while also gaining valuable insights into the future of laboratory technology and analysis.

Renowned as the primary hub for the ASEAN Region, analytica Vietnam is all set to commemorate its grandest event ever with an anticipated attendance of 5,000 diagnostic professionals, top industry buyers, and investment decision-makers from over 30 countries worldwide. This trade fair is set to be the first in-person meeting since the COVID-19 pandemic. With the sponsorship of prominent names such as Thermo Fisher, BIOVIA, and BTG, the forthcoming edition of analytica Vietnam 2023 is poised to unite the science and research sector in a spectacular reunion.

The list of exhibitors at the 2023 trade fair comprises both national and international industry giants, including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Shimadzu, Merck, Leco, ITS, DKSH, 2H Instruments, Scilab, Eppendorf, and Waters. Additionally, the exhibition will showcase international exhibitors from countries such as Germany, Italy, the UK, Japan, Canada, Korea, France, the Czech Republic, the USA, Singapore, India, Thailand, and China. To further bolster the event, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises Singapore (ASME) will extend their support with a German and Singapore Pavilion.

Conference Program from top industry experts

Concurrently with the trade fair, the analytica Vietnam Conference is scheduled to take place on 19-20 April. This conference program encompasses over 30 lectures presented by national and international experts from the science and research sector worldwide, providing insights into the latest topics in biomedical and forensic analysis, novel analytical methods, food analysis, environmental analysis, and quality control. The conference is being organised by Professor Dr Oliver J. Schmitz (University of Duisburg-Essen, Faculty of Chemistry) and Professor Dr Pham Hung Viet (VNU University of Science, KLATEFOS).

Latest laboratory working practices

During the conference, there will be two practical tutorials on laboratory working practices on both days. These two half-day workshops, namely ‘Compliant Modernization of HPLC Gradient Elution Methods in View of USP 621 Revision’ and ‘3-MCPD and MOSH/MOAH Analysis’, provide detailed information on the automated workflows for routine analysis. These workshops are aimed at laboratory staff and students and require advance registration.

The Exhibitor Forum, which is part of the supporting program within the exhibition halls, offers exhibitors a platform for presenting their products and services live to a professional audience interested in the applicability of laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology, and diagnostic-related services and products.

The event will showcase various innovative applications and marketable products, such as Thermo Fisher's Comprehensive Testing & QC solutions from Farm to Fork, BIOVIA's R&D to Manufacturing - Connected Bio/Pharmaceutical Organization - Digital Continuity using 3DS platform, and Eppendorf Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd's Competence Cold Storage & Cell Cultivation Solutions through Innovation. Other solutions that will be presented include Agilent Technologies solutions for environmental analysis, EMCLAB Instruments GmbH's UV/VIS Spectrophotometer with EMC-Lambda Software and Audit Trail CFR 21 part 11 compliance, Nippon Genetics Europe GmbH's novel technology for DNA/RNA lab, and behr Labor-Technik GmbH's Nitrogen determination according to Kjeldahl. Bruker will also present their solution for analysing microplastic pollution with FT-IR spectroscopy. In addition, LabWare LIMS, Hitachi High-Tech Scientific Solutions Co Ltd's Amino Acid Analysis of Food, and TSI Hanoi's solution for optimising the production of probiotics and fermented products will also be showcased. Visitors can attend both the trade fair and supporting program for free.
