Environmental Scientist joins Linkam Support Team

Following continued growth in sales worldwide, Linkam has made an addition to its support staff under sales and marketing manager, Duncan Stacey.  Outlining the position he said: “With our sales and product development being driven by feedback from our users and their publishing of research papers, we have decided it was time to add another member to the team so I am pleased to announce that Fran Coles has joined us. A graduate in Environmental Science from Plymouth University, Fran brings enthusiasm and skill, particularly in the areas of social media and electronic communications tools.”

The company is a specialist in the development of new techniques based on temperature stages to address multiple applications challenges and works closely with both the research and industry sectors.

Talking about her expectations to work closely with users around the world, Fran added: “I graduated from Plymouth with a degree in Environmental Science and after a year in marketing and design, I am looking forward to be returning to the scientific world and put my new skills to best use. I will be working particularly on email-campaigns such as newsletters for users, application notes, press releases and social media. I hope I will be able to learn about new uses of the Linkam stages as I talk with users and listen to their thoughts on applications and ideas for future instrument developments.”
