Science World, a premier laboratory experience, returned to Germany on 2 June hosted at the Congress Center in Düsseldorf by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Showcasing the very latest in laboratory innovations with thousands of products in action, the event, which attracted 332 delegates from a wide catchment including Bremen, Hamburg and Berlin, built on the success of the first Science World in Germany launched in Berlin last year.

As John Tourlas, Vice President, Portfolio Management, Research and Safety Market Division for Thermo Fisher Scientific commented “It’s an opportunity for our suppliers, customers and our employees to get together where we showcase all the latest technologies, products and solutions”

Düsseldorf has been hailed as a resounding success generating 1954 sales leads, bringing 49 leading suppliers together and delivering 18 technical seminars.

“Having Science World in Germany has given us the ability to interact with our customers and help them to understand the value proposition we can bring to their businesses” said Stephen Pickering, Vice President, Sales, Research and Safety Market Division for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
