Easier Access Provided by Standard Software
Apr 08 2014
Laboratory managers, scientists and technicians can now control all their instruments using the same familiar software package with a new release of Thermo Scientific Dionex Chromeleon 7.2 Chromatography Data System (CDS) Service Release 1.
The software supports liquid and ion chromatography control as well as gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry. “Last year, we bridged the chromatography-mass spectrometry gap with the Chromeleon 7.2 CDS for GC-MS,” said Christoph Nickel, global software marketing director, chromatography, for Thermo Fisher. “Customer interest has been overwhelming, and this year we’re taking it to the next level by adding control of Thermo Scientific LC-MS instrumentation. With this new release, we’re responding to growing customer demand to apply high-sensitivity, information-rich MS techniques for quantitative applied analyses. Chromeleon CDS’s ease-of-use makes mass spec technology more accessible for routine operation."
The latest version of the software adds full control for the Thermo Scientific MSQ single quadrupole system, TSQ Quantiva and Endura triple quadrupole instruments as well as the company’s benchtop Orbitrap-based high-resolution accurate mass instruments.
