New eco-drying cabinets: Up to 65% energy savings

04 Nov, 2025

LTE Scientific is proud to launch its newly designed Eco-Drying Cabinet range, engineered to meet the growing demand for sustainable laboratory solutions. With energy savings of up to 65% compared to standard glassware drying cabinets, these cabinets represent a major step forward in reducing carbon footprints and running costs.

The new Eco-Drying Cabinets combine enhanced operational efficiency with user-friendly features, including a digital temperature controller and a programmable 7-day electronic timer. Available in 100-Litre and 180-Litre sizes, the cabinets come fully insulated on five sides and include glass sliding doors for easy access and visibility.

In testing, the DL100E model demonstrated exceptional energy performance, using just 0.138 kWh to heat from 22°C to 60°C and only 0.122 kWh to maintain the temperature. Even at a constant 75°C, energy consumption remains impressively low at 0.201 kWh, underscoring the range’s enhanced eco credentials.

Built for durability, the cabinets feature a stainless-steel exterior for hygiene and long life, with adjustable shelving to suit your workspace and the option to add extra shelves for more capacity.

To support long-term confidence, LTE offers an extended 2-year warranty as standard, with optional bi-annual servicing to ensure safety, longevity, and continued efficiency.

With this new Eco-Drying Cabinet range, LTE Scientific is delivering a greener, more cost-effective solution without compromising performance, a meaningful step forward for laboratories committed to sustainability.
