In any organisation it is sensible every now and
again to take a pause to revisit the fundamentals
and consider whether the primary aims and
objectives of the organisation are being fulfilled.
The purpose of The Chromatographic Society is
essentially to promote separation science and
foster its development. This means more than
staging meetings and awarding medals.
For example, our bursaries are very important to
us as a means of assisting the young separation
scientists of today who we hope may go on to
work in the field for many years to come.
Accordingly, a number of student bursaries are
available to attend all the Chromatographic
Society meetings held throughout each year.
