Dual-access balance enclosure 

Hemco’s SSE Balance Enclosure is engineered for safe, efficient operation in educational or light-duty lab settings. Designed for island or peninsula placement, the enclosure offers dual-side access - ideal for student workstations or small-scale procedures involving analytical balances.

Available in 24", 36", and 48" widths, the SSE accommodates a range of instruments and processes. Its robust construction features a chemical-resistant metal frame and ¼" clear acrylic sides and sash for excellent visibility.

A carefully engineered airflow system with integrated airfoil and bypass channels ensures contaminants are directed to a baffled exhaust, enhancing containment and protecting users. The ergonomic sash is angled at 15° for comfortable viewing, with an 8" reach-in height and full swing-up functionality, expanding the access opening to 20" when needed.

Additional features include two utility service ports located on the lower rear wall - one on each side - for flexible integration with lab services.
