Corrosion-resistant HDPE fume hood

Designed for demanding acid digestion and elemental analysis workflows, the UniFlow® HDPE fume hood from Hemco features a fully welded high-density polyethylene interior that resists corrosion from strong acids. The seamless one-piece fume chamber includes the walls, ceiling, worksurface, and rear drain trough, while the exterior is made from chemical-resistant composite resin.

Models are available in 48", 60", 72", and 96" widths, with optional built-in wash-down system and rear drainage. A counterbalanced vertical sash is supplied in either polycarbonate for use with hydrofluoric acid, or tempered glass for other applications. Standard features include a vapor-proof LED light, pre-wired switch, and remote-control water fixture with integrated spray nozzles when the wash-down option is included.

A wide selection of compatible ventilation systems, support cabinetry, and factory-installed accessories are available to configure the unit to specific lab needs.
