Reliable containment for sharp, hazardous, and infectious waste

16 Jan, 2026

Sharpsafe® disposal containers are designed for the safe collection and disposal of sharp, hazardous, and infectious waste, including needles, syringes, Petri dishes, scalpels, and insulin pens. Built to resist impact and penetration, the containers comply with DIN EN ISO 23907, TRBA 250, and AFNOR NF X 30-507 standards.

Sustainability is integral to the design. Each container is manufactured using an improved, environmentally responsible process and made entirely from 100% recycled polypropylene (PP), without compromising safety or performance.

The containers are watertight in the upright position and feature an integrated handle for secure transport. A wide opening with a transparent inner chamber allows clear visibility of contents, while an automatic closure system helps prevent vapour release into the surrounding environment. Two closure positions - temporary and permanent - support safe use throughout handling and final disposal.

Depending on the model, integrated extractors are suitable for insulin pens, Luer Lock and Luer Slip needles, and scalpel blades. A clearly visible fill-level indicator prevents overfilling, and a permanently stamped, multilingual label ensures essential information remains legible throughout the product’s lifetime.

Sharpsafe® containers are available in volumes of 1, 2, 4, 7, 9 (standard and tall), 13, and 24 litres. All models are supplied in dark grey with a yellow lid for clear visual identification.
