A clinical laboratory in Germany has set to work on improving around 25 hospital laboratories in India, setting up over 1,000 collection centres as well as a logistics network that will get samples to the labs.

Medizinisch Diagnostiche Institute Berlin is the largest clinical laboratory in Germany, and will be undergoing a significant project in India, transporting laboratory products and setting up new work spaces in order to aid the effectiveness of sample analysis in the country. This includes upgrading 25 hospital laboratories and also the logistic network to transport samples to these places.

This follows from the company's maiden entry in India, where it upgraded Nanavati Hospital lab by installing world class automated machines and web based software. MDI Laboratories, which represents the Medizinisch Diagnostiche Institute of Germany, strongly believe that India ranks as having one of the best healthcare industries in the world, and is looking to promote lab work in the country through its upgrade project.

The company is also providing international standards of services and processes which have been adopted for its operations. Added to this, they are also training Indian lab doctors and technicians in Germany.
