The qNano is a unique particle size and concentration system from 50nm – 10µm at concentrations from 105 to 1012 particles/mL based on the Izon patented Tunable Resistive Pulse Sensing (TRPS) technology. Since this is a counting technique the results are high resolution, extremely accurate, and provided as a number distribution as demanded by new EU regulations for nanoparticles in consumer products.

The qViro-X provides rapid size and concentration analysis of individual virus particles in real-time, ideal for assessment of viral titre and aggregation. Its stainless steel construction has been purpose-built for virus-handling environments and decontamination procedures. Used in conjunction with infectivity assays this allows users to determine the relative concentrations of infective virus particles vs. total viral particles present.

Horiba Scientific is a leading manufacturer of scientific instruments used in research and industrial laboratories. The European headquarters are based in Longjumeau, France with headquarters in Kyoto, Japan.

Izon Science, based in Christcurch, New Zealand, designs and manufactures precision instrumentation for nano- and micro-scale particle analysis. The instrument systems, the qNano and qViro-X, are now in use in a wide range of research institutes and universities around the world.
