Media Friendly
Jan 30 2014
Media cycles are usually the longest of all cycles on an autoclave and can limit the number of cycles which can be achieved in a day.
To improve cycle efficiency and shorten overall cycle times, the Touchclave-R range of cylindrical laboratory autoclaves from LTE Scientific includes air ballast as standard across all 7 models.
Air ballast is a useful feature which allows both sealed and unsealed media and liquid cycles to be cooled quickly and safely, whilst safeguarding the load against risk of breakage or loss of volume, which can be a common problem when cooling media rapidly. This is achieved by means of a built-in air compressor which maintains an over-pressure inside the chamber whilst rapidly cooling load.
This is just one of many features included as standard on the Touchclave-R. with its unique pneumatic door sealing system, closing the door on a Touchclave-R couldn’t be easier – Just push it closed. The door has no bolts or levers and automatically locks and seals, releasing only when a successful cycle has been completed.
As with all LTE autoclaves, Touchclave-R is controlled by means of an easy to use, menu driven Touchscreen panel with multiple levels of security which prevent the unauthorised tampering of cycle settings.
All LTE autoclaves are now coated in Sterling Antibac, a special anti-bacterial powder coating which is specifically formulated to minimise microbial growth where applied.
