Miltenyi Biotec GmbH is pleased to announce the release of the autoMACS? Pro Separator, a bench top magnetic cell sorter designed to process up to six samples in a computer-controlled fashion. In combination with the renowned MACS® Technology, offering more than 200 MACS Cell Separation Reagents, the autoMACS Pro Separator represents a state-of-the-art instrument compatible with a wide variety of downstream applications. The automated cell separation process minimizes manual sample handling. The instrument is operated via touchscreen and intuitive screen menus.

Three different tube racks allow customers to use sample volumes between 0.2 mL and 50 mL and up to 4×109 cells per sample. The tube racks can be pre-cooled for gentle handling of cell samples.
