Miltenyi Biotec GmbH's Microarray Service offers now gene expression profiling using minute amounts of sample material starting from one single cell to 100,000 cells. Biopsy tissues, cells sorted with MACS® Technology, laser capture microdissected cells, or cells sorted by flow cytometry provide the starting material for millionfold amplified cDNA-sample.
The starting material is collected by the researcher in provided SuperAmp Tubes and Lysis Buffer and sent to Miltenyi Biotec GmbH, where microarray analysis is performed and documented.
Key features of the new service are a unique global PCR protocol, magnetic bead technology, and the uniform size of generated cDNA fragments to suppress PCR bias while the small volume allows optimal reaction kinetics.
