New temperature control hoses with a smooth inner bore for faster heating and cooling times. Huber, a leading manufacturer of temperature control systems has extended their portfolio with new temperature control hoses. The new hoses feature a smooth inner wall which, when compared to conventional hoses with corrugated insides, optimise flow characteristics, heat transfer and heating/cooling times. Tests with different reactor systems in

combination with Unistats have shown that heating and cooling times can be reduced by 30% depending on the application. These insulated hoses are suitable for working temperatures from -60°C to +260°C and are available in different lengths: 100, 150, 200 and 300cm. The double-sided connections (optionally available in M24/30/38 x 1.5) allow the hoses to be directly connected to reactor systems, autoclaves, synthesis or distillation apparatus.
