Horiba Scientific announces new ‘Duetta’ 2-in-1 Fluorescence and Absorbance Spectrometer

Horiba Scientific, the global leader in fluorescence spectroscopy solutions, is proud to announce the introduction of a new fluorescence / UV-Vis spectrometer with technology that combines fluorescence and absorbance into one instrument.

The Duetta™ two-in-one system eliminates the need for multiple scanning instruments by combining traditional fluorescence and UV-Vis-NIR absorbance spectroscopy techniques. Simultaneous Absorbance—Transmittance Excitation-Emission Matrices (A-TEEM) provide superior molecular fingerprinting and are generated in a matter of seconds. The Duetta™ offers superior sensitivity compared with other commercially available benchtop spectrofluorometers over a standard wavelength range 200 – 1,100 nm.
