LED Illumination Products Fit to most Microscopes

CoolLED pE-series LED illumination products are intended for use on all microscopes making them much simpler to use and sell. Where possible, a fitting will be provided for any specified microscope. to find that fitting to her older microscope was no longer going to be a problem and said: "I originally approached various companies with regards to getting an LED light source for my Leica DMLB microscope. The fact that the microscope was old and had a mechanised stage meant that some of the LED systems that we looked at were unsuitable to be fitted. Thankfully the CoolLED system simply slots in where the old mercury bulb unit used to sit. It took less than 5 minutes to fit, and was ready to use once it was switched on. No more waiting for the bulb to get to temperature, no more bulb changing, or re-calibrating of the mirrors before use. Simply marvellous"
The pE-100 is a fully configured unit which is supplied with a fixed LED wavelength and fitting as specified at time of order. With the release of the pE-100, CoolLED were asked to supply fittings for a larger range of microscopes. This includes many older microscopes which are used for Clinical Screening applications so their list of adaptors is now quite extensive. If you are unsure, please contact CoolLED so that they can verify the exact fitting as some microscope models have been supplied with different fittings over a period of time. This will ensure that the CoolLED product will fit correctly when fitting to the microscope.
