Grant Instruments has launched the LMC-3000, a general purpose, low speed benchtop centrifuge with interchangeable metal rotors accommodating up to 12 tubes (10 to 15 ml or 50 ml) or two 96-well microtitre plates.
Designed for use in a wide range of analytical applications including immunoassay, biomedical and general laboratory use, the Grant-bio LMC-3000 is a versatile, easy-to-use, high quality centrifuge that offers laboratories exceptional value for money.
The Grant-bio unit’s two-line LCD display and simple push buttons make it incredibly easy to programme both the centrifugation speeds (between 1000 and 3000 rpm) and 1-30 minute timer. Like all of the Grant-bio range of life science products, the LMC-3000 is robust and eliable and comes with a two-year warranty.
The small footprint Grant-bio LMC-3000 measures just 235 x 470 x 400mm, features a sturdy metal housing and lid, and automatic imbalance switch-off and lid lock to ensure safe operation in the workplace. The unit’s powerful and extremely quiet motor has a ’soft’ start-up and run down function to minimise sample disruption.
Grant’s comprehensive range of scientific products includes block heaters and coolers, baths and thermostatic circulators, re-circulating chillers, flow heaters, and, under the Grant-bio brand, microplate and micro-tube thermoshakers, UV cabinets/PCR workstations, centrifuges, densitometers, rockers, rotators, shakers, mixers and stirrers.
The Grant-bio series of products can be purchased worldwide through the extensive network of Grant appointed scientific products distributors. A full range of accessories is available, making the Grant-bio product range one of the most comprehensive on the market for sample preparation and treatment, as well as representing excellent value for money.
