Advanced Chemistry Development celebrates 20 years

Advanced Chemistry Development Inc (ACD/Labs) is a privately-held cheminformatics company that develops and commercialises solutions in support of small molecule R&D. 2014 marks their twentieth anniversary of helping organisations accelerate R&D and leverage corporate intelligence. A project to manage metabolite biotransformation data (attaching relevant interpreted analytical spectra to chemical structures and biotransformation schema) at GSK gave scientists easier access to data and accelerated report compilation from two weeks to minutes. ACD/Labs’ solutions for chromatographic method development have also received high praise with clients claiming improved reliability, robustness, and lifetimes of methods, reduced loss of interpretation information, and less retesting of samples. In support of enabling collaborative, multi-disciplinary research ACD/Labs recently showcased a solution to help teams in pharmaceutical development identify impurities faster, with greater confidence.
