Brookfield appoint Senior Manager for Texture Analyser  

Brookfield Engineering Laboratories has promoted Chris Freeman to Senior Product Manager for its T3 range of texture analysers. This general purpose instrument is used in compression and tension testing of solid and soft-solid substances.

Chris already provides CT3 sales and support coverage to customers throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia and will continue to orchestrate the Brookfield dealer network in these countries. The product has experienced rapid growth in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and industrial markets, which has been largely attributed to Chris’ initiative in the creation of new test fixtures for these specific industries.

The CT3 simulates test conditions that mimic how the customers use products with the automatic pass/fail test reducing costs compared to human sensory test panels the company said.

Chris is based at Brookfield’s European headquarters located in Harlow, Essex, UK.
