Autoscribe Informatics, a leading provider of database management systems, has reported record sales for the first quarter of the 2014-15 financial year. Autoscribe’s flagship product, Matrix Gemini, is used in database management applications ranging from Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to Quality Management Systems.

Managing director, John Boother, said: “This is a superb start to the year for us and reflects the benefit of having a global presence in a number of market areas. This quarter has seen particularly strong orders from the UK with sales of LIMS leading the way. However, looking forward we have an excellent prospect list across all of the market areas throughout the world.”

“The results are even more impressive since we also reported an increase in order intake of around 100% in the equivalent quarter last year”, he continued. “With a similar increase this year we are showing a sustained growth that reflects on the quality and pricing of our product as well as our support and consultancy operations.”
