As a main driving force of today's scientific and technological development, Bio-industry has become the focus of international competition to solve problems facing humanity such as population, health, food, energy and environment.

With high importance attached to its national long-term science and technology development plan ( 2006-2020) the Chinese Government recognises biotechnological development as one of its five-strategic priorities to strengthen its economy and knowledge base.

During the 12th Five-Year Plan, the goals of development of biotechnology in China are to improve the capability of independent innovation of biotechnology, while advancing world-wide technical capability as a whole in a structure that will see biotechnology become one of China's pillar industries.

Authorised by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, organised by China National Biotech Group and co-organised by Beijing Lanneret International Exhibition Co. Ltd, ‘China International Biotechnology ,Equipments & Biological Reagents Exhibition & Forum--CIBEF China to be held 3rd to 5th December 2012 in Beijing International Convention Centre, will offer a platform for exhibitors from home and abroad seeking marketing opportunity and international cooperation.
