Diba Industries’ Cambridge location  has received an accolade for its occupational safety and health success in a programme run by the safety charity the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The Awards recognise commitment to accident prevention and health promotion and are the largest and longest-running of their kind in the U.K.

“We strive to provide our staff and visitors with a safe risk-free environment and it’s fantastic to know that our efforts have been recognised. It just proves that being thorough in risk assessments, training and policies is worth it to make Diba a safe workplace,” said Diba U.K. general manager Mick Pearson.

Diba manufactures fluid-handling parts such as probes, flared tubing assemblies and in-line heaters. Headquartered in the U.S., the company has additional locations in China and Japan. Diba received the award during the Safety and Health Expo 2013 from 14 – 16 May in Birmingham.
