Horiba Invests Heavily in European Centre

On 15th September, the President of Horiba welcomed government officials to celebrate the laying of the foundation stone of a new company facility in the Paris Saclay cluster.

In the presence of Mr. Guyot, General Director of the Grand Paris Corporation and Mr Veltz, President of the Paris Saclay Public Development Board, representing together Mr Maurice Leroy, Minister of Urban Development in charge of Grand Paris, Mr Lamy, Mayor of Palaiseau and Member of  Parliament and Mr Guedj, President of the Council of the Essonne District, the ceremony brought together more than 130 guests.

The new facility will serve as an R&D centre with a strong focus on optics and also as the company’s headquarters in Europe, consolidating nearly EUR 400 million and 1700 people; this amounts to about one third of the total Horiba Group, with major activities in the Automotive and Medical markets.
