From 4th to 6th July, specialists from around the UK will gather in Cardiff City Hall for the premier analytical conference and exhibition of 2023: Solutions in Science (SinS). An expansion of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Special Interest Group in partnership with the British Mass Spectrometry Society, SinS 2023 will provide a larger platform for collaboration between interested parties within the Royal Society and other like-minded communities, allowing for a wide-ranging discussion of topics in analytical science. It is hoped, too, that convening for one large meeting serves commitments to sustainability held by the organisers and many attendees. On the exhibition floor, visitors will be able to explore the latest products, techniques and analytical solutions for laboratories

To give prospective attendees a sense of the meeting's concerns, schedule and packed line-up of speakers, Professor John Langley, Chair of the conference's Scientific Committee, joins Graham Meller. Other topics include:

  • How did Solutions in Science (SinS) 2023 come about?
  • What are the conference's main themes?
  • Which professions will gain the most from attending SinS 2023?
