Sue Petts – 13th August 1959 – 2nd December 2014

It is with great sadness we announce that on the 2nd December 2014 International Labmate lost a key member of its staff – Sue Petts lost her battle to cancer and passed away.

Having only been diagnosed in July 2014, her fight with the illness was short but her strength throughout was beyond admirable. She remained a constant figure in the office for as long as her health would allow, fulfilling her role as PA to Michael Pattison and Reader Services/Exhibitions Manager, with her usual gusto and she never stopped smiling.

Sue was with us at International Labmate for some eighteen years and her loyalty was greatly appreciated and recognised. She was a lady so full of life and good humour that she fulfilled all her duties, both in and out of the office, with such enthusiasm and zest. Sue was a main stay of our exhibitions participation, organising everything from logistics to company dinners, and was fondly known as Michael Pattison’s CEO ‘Chief Entertainment Officer’. As a result she was eminent, loved and respected within the industry.

She will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with her family.
