Registration is still open for the popular ‘Trends in Microscopy’ (TiM) biennial conference, which takes place in Münsingen from 9-13 March.

Organised by the GerBI-GMB, the 2020 event is set for a change of format, with an intense microscopy training camp offering hands-on workshops and scientific talks from distinguished guest speakers. The program will also cover fundamentals of optics and practical sessions on image analysis.

Round table discussions and presentations by renowned researchers who were funded by the latest large equipment initiative for microscopy of the German Research Foundation (DFG) will round off the event, which is particularly useful to PhD and post doc graduates.

Participants will stay at the conference site, a nicely renovated ancient military base immersed in the unspoiled landscape of the Biosphere Reserve Swabian Alb, for the whole week.
