Watlow® Taps on Asia Growth with the Opening of a Sales Office in India

Watlow® has opened its first sales office in India. The office is located in Hyderabad, in east-central India.

Watlow has been expanding its presence in Asia since the 1990s and now has sales offices in major Asian countries –Greater China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, and Australia. It has two production facilities located in China and Singapore.

The expansion in Asia signifies Watlow’s commitment to serving its growing customer base in Asia. India has become an increasingly important country as its manufacturing sector and economy continue to have a healthy growth rate.

Watlow’s key focus in India will be on engineering complete thermal solutions for the market.

“The opening of the India sales office is another way for us to serve our customers,” said Chris Baichoo, Managing Director, Asia region. “We are now positioned to offer our wide product range, thermal solutions expertise and local support to our customers in this growing region.”

The new sales office will be managed by Anand Narayan. He has over 15 years of Watlow thermal product knowledge to share with Watlow customers.
