ChemVak, the specialist for laboratory vacuum pumps and vacuum filtration systems, receives a fresh coating. The formerly black-green brand turns blue. Since ChemVak is established as a sub-brand of the Wiggens label, the change of colour is a step towards a more unified corporate design. In the short and midterm all Wiggens and ChemVak products are will be of similar colour and share similar features in the design, wherever possible. This not only enhances the brands recognition but also cuts costs due to simpler and faster coating and assembly procedures, which will have a beneficial impact on prices in the long term.

The larger product output fuelled by international and domestic sales made it reasonable for Wiggens to largely invest into a new facility. The new building is directly opposite of the current factory, so the efficient exchange between both facilities can be maintained at all times. The production halls for Wiggens and ChemVak as well as the warehouse are largely expanded. A new coating chamber has been installed in order to provide a cost-effective and time-efficient solution for the unified colouring of Wiggens and ChemVak products. In addition, Wiggens now has more room for its already successful stainless steel and PTFE equipment production and the creation of new office space
