High-power IR hotplate and stirrer

11 Mar, 2026

The Wiggens WH390-NH combines cutting-edge infrared heating technology with robust design, delivering 2000 W of rapid heating power for a wide range of vessels, including round-bottom flasks. Solutions can reach temperatures of up to 550℃ in record time, making it ideal for fast and efficient lab work.

The hotplate features a Schott glass-ceramic surface, offering exceptional chemical resistance, temperature-shock tolerance (over 700℃), and high-quality smoothness. Its poreless design ensures easy cleaning, even for stubborn residues, while high infrared permeability transfers heat efficiently with minimal energy loss.

Three pre-set PID programs allow self-optimising temperature control for different volumes, and with a connected Pt-100 sensor, the WH390-NH achieves stable temperature control within ±2℃ in most applications.

Beyond heating, the WH390-NH excels at liquid mixing, from gentle stirring to vigorous agitation, and handles large volumes or viscous media with ease. Heating and stirring can be adjusted independently via intuitive knobs, with all key parameters - temperature, stirring speed, time, and safety limits - displayed clearly on a bright touch screen. Memory functions for speed and temperature make repeated experiments quick and convenient, and a residual-heat indicator ensures user safety.

With its speed, precision, and versatility, the WH390-NH is a premier choice for laboratories, supporting a wide range of applications including the precise requirements of cannabis extraction and other specialised workflows.
