LC/MS N2 Generator Range Extended with Four New Models

Dec 15 2006

domnick hunter has extended its range of LC/MS nitrogen generators with the launch of four new models. The LC/MS 15, LC/MS 20, LC/MS 30 and LC/MS 40 are specifically designed to meet the gas flow, purity and pressure requirements of the latest generation of LC/MS instruments. The generators offer increased flexibility allowing single or multiple instruments to be supplied and can drastically reduce ongoing laboratory gas costs.

Steve Carss, Segment Manager Scientific at domnick hunter says, "As developments in LC/MS instrumentation push nitrogen requirements ever higher the arguments for replacing cylinder supplies with an in-situ gas generator have never been stronger. These latest additions to the domnick hunter LC/MS generator range provide a cost-effective, robust and convenient gas solution for applications requiring higher gas flows and re-affirm domnick hunter's position as a truly global player in the laboratory gas generator market."

Utilising fully regenerative, proven durability pressure swing adsorption technology the generators provide a continuous stream of clean, dry nitrogen without the need for secondary purification and are fully compatible with all known APCI and ESI interfaces.

Models featuring integral oil-free compressors give increased security of supply, completely removing the reliance on external air supplies. Dual compressors to reduce the duty cycle and guarantee trouble free operation. All system components are supported by a manufacturer's one year warranty.

Extended warranties are available through preventative maintenance contracts backed by domnick hunter's global aftermarket capability.

The range will be showcased at a number of conferences / exhibitions taking place over the coming months including IAFS in Hong Kong this August, TIAFT in Seoul also in August, BMSS in York, UK in September and CIA, Singapore in December.
