In 1980, CSC began as fume extraction specialists before becoming a distributor of imported laboratory equipment. Focused on customer satisfaction, our founder, Noel Smyth became increasingly aware of the limitations imposed by standardised fume cupboards. He believed that the product should be built to suit the individual client and their specific needs. This eventually led to CSC’s progression into manufacturing.

To create a truly unique product, CSC’s R&D team selected PVC, a 100% recyclable and incredibly durable material. To ensure a superior product across the board, the team focused on the most important aspect of the cupboard, operator safety. The company’s design led the way to improved performance and as a result CSC’s ChemFlow Bench Mounted unit was the world’s first fume cupboard to receive the BS7258 Certification. The latest range, the ChemFlow 2020 Vision, is certified to the highest BS Standard, EN 14175.

CSC’s design and production teams can produce a wide range of fume cupboards to meet the function of the laboratory and safety of the users. For more information, contact [email protected]. Interested in becoming a distributor? Contact [email protected].
