Fast gas analysis, wherever the work happens

04 Jun, 2026

When gas analysis needs to move as fast as the application, the Agilent 990 Micro GC from Analytix makes a strong case for leaving the constraints of conventional systems behind. Compact, flexible and built for speed, it delivers precise gas analysis in the laboratory, at-line, online or out in the field.

Its appeal lies in the balance of speed and practicality. With configuration options offering up to four channels of separation and detection, plus automatic sampling via an integral pump, the system is designed to handle demanding workflows without the footprint or resource draw of a traditional lab GC. In fact, it uses just 10% of the power and carrier gas of a conventional laboratory GC.

That versatility opens the door to a wide range of applications, from bioreactor gases and fuel cell development to specialty gas production, natural gas analysis and calorific value determination. It is equally well suited to refinery gas analysis, stack emissions monitoring, and trace-level work involving sulphur compounds, oxygenates, halogenates and H2S.
