Permeation Analysis Solutions

Gloves, overalls, protective clothing all need testing for their resistance to breakdown under chemical attack. The standard test for this is to place a sample of the material in a cell which allows the challenge chemical to be in contact with one face of the material and a sample gas to be passed across the other face. The sample gas can then be analysed for the amount of the attack chemical passing through the material. A number of analyses are then performed over a period of time and the permeation breakthrough can be plotted.

Ellutia have created a fully automated permeation analysis system. The system fully automates the analysis of up to 10 cells. Plotting graphs and reports via custom software tailored to the customer's individual requirements.
